Radio Winchcombe (Est 2005) (107.1 & 106.9 FM) is the community radio station for the Cotswolds broadcasting to Bishops Cleeve, Winchcombe and the surrounding area, reaching over 35,000 listeners.
On Air
The station can be heard on 106.9 & 107.1 FM, online and via smart speaker. Our online stream works with most computers, smartphones, tablets and internet radios.
Radio Winchcombe broadcasts music and speech programmes. Music output includes all genres to current chart music, as well as specialist music programs. These genres include Jazz, Country, Rock, Folk, Soul and blues…

Volunteering
Like the majority of community radio stations, Radio Winchcombe relies on a team of volunteers to manage the station and produce programmes. However, not all volunteers are presenters! In order to maintain an effecient creative broadcast environment, there are a multitude of responsibilities which our volunteers keep in check; this includes maintaining the technical capability of the station, marketing and branding, producing radio ads for our advertisers, keeping tabs of the station’s income and expenditure as well as our presenters making their individual show’s for broadcast. Unsurprisingly it takes quite some man and woman power to coordinate and pull everything together, that’s why Radio Winchcombe is always keen to hear from volunteers who can help keep the station broadcasting for at least another 20 years.

Radio Winchcocmbe broadscasts from two fm transmitters, reaching an audience of upto 35,000 listeners. It also has a strong on-line presence, reaching out countrywide and worldwide, further increasing listenership. Radio Winchcombe offer a range of advertising packages designed for organisations, sole traders and small and medium sized companies. We also wok closely with charities as well as non pofit organisations. for some, we bang their drum, making a big difference through the power of radio.
